About Us

Greater Spokane Incorporated™ is widely recognized for its workforce development programs and connecting businesses with a highly trained highly skilled workforce. We are focused on accelerating regional economic prosperity throughout the Spokane region – ensuring that our community is the premier place to live, work and do business.

The Health Care industry is making enormous strides in technology. We strongly support all aspects of health care information technology throughout our region and are actively collaborating with our community partners to sustain and develop our workforce – which is a common thread that binds all businesses large and small.

Recently, the Spokane Area Economic Development Council and Spokane Regional Chamber of Commerce integrated their organizations to form Greater Spokane Incorporated. Since its formation, the organization has accelerated regional efforts across its five divisions of economic development, public policy, workforce development, business resources and marketing and communications.

Greater Spokane Incorporated encourages you to get involved and do your part in building on our strong foundation and enhancing our mission to accelerate regional economic prosperity. Health Care will play an ever increasing role in offering the citizens of our region an excellent opportunity for challenging and rewarding, high paying careers with stability and solid benefits.

On the Rise

The U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics says healthcare provided 13.5 million jobs in 2004. And if that’s not enough to convince you that this is a great industry, it’s projected that 3.6 million more new jobs will be created between 2004 and 2014. These jobs are in hospitals, nursing homes, doctor and dentist offices, public health departments and many other healthcare settings in communities across the nation. While the Spokane/Coeur d’Alene area is a great place to live and work, you may want to venture out after you’ve completed a training program. You can know that your allied health experience and training is in high demand across the nation!
